Obasanjo Meets With President Goodluck Jonathan Over Security Issues In The Country




Former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo during the early hours of yesterday met with President Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to have a “discussion on the country’s security issues”.

The meeting which took place some days after the ex-president had praised and castigated the current administration in the area of economic management bordered on the insurgency in the North Eastern part of Nigeria.

The invitation of this meeting from the president to the ex-president is well appreciated by Obasanjo as he pledges to always make himself available on national issues in the interest of peace and progress of the country.

Multitalented gospel artiste and Glo ambassador Sammie Okposo has been nominated in this year’s Best of Africa category at the biggest South-Africa gospel music awards, SABC Crown Music Awards. Okposo is the only Nigerian artiste nominated for the awards and in same category with four other revered African gospel artistes, Frank Chimpazi, Shongwe & Khuphuka, Saved Group and Seapour N. The awards  which is in its seventh year will be held at ICC Arena, Durban on 23 November 2014.
