Big Things Happening! Wizkid Named MTV Base ‘Artist of the Month’ for November

Wizkid  has definitely had a good year. In 2014 Wizkid released his sophomore album ‘Ayo’, renewed a number of endorsements and revealed his very own record label –  Star Boy . He also recently landed an exciting new management deal with Disturbing London that will help to raise his profile and expose him to an even broader audience in the UK and Europe. Still bouncing off the euphoria of his new album,  MTV Base  has decided to make Wizkid their ‘Artist of the Month’ for November and in a bid to celebrate Wizkid they will be backing Wizkid with a month of programmes dedicated to his rise and rise.

bomb explosion at the First bank in Azare, Bauchi state.

There was heavy explosion at the First Bank Plc along new Kano road in Azare, today 7th of November 2014 at around 10:20am. The explosion occured at the ATM stand of the bank. With the heavy congestion of people at the ATM stand it is expected that their will be heavy casualty! It will be recalled that there was similar explosion at a park in the same town few weeks back.

The Governor of Adamawa State, James Ngilari has said that Boko Haram has taken over five local governments in the state. Governor Ngilari also stated that the terrorists are making moves to take over other towns in the state.The governor stated this at the Presidential Villa in Abuja after a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan. Ngilari said: “The security situation in Adamawa is very dicey right now and we are only trying to do our best to manage the situation. We are praying that it will improve, but it is really something to worry about”.

MTN Launches N10 Recharge Card

Subscribers to the telecommunications service provider, MTN Nigeria will, as from Friday (today), have the opportunity to recharge their phones for as low as N10. The Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, Bayo Adekanmbi, revealed this in a statement on Thursday. According to Adekambi, the initiative, to be launched in Kano, was to ensure that no Nigerian was shut out of the values that the network offers. “Apart from making it possible for customers to purchase airtime at the lowest rates, it also offers opportunities for small scale  See card below.....
